The police believe that in one incident in Paris, the woman allegedly stole a 5.5 carat diamond ring worth 635,000 euros. The crime which brought the woman to international attention occurred last September when a 210,000 euro ring was stolen from the silver key rings store in Frankfurt. One of the leads being followed up by police is that the woman may be associated with a family of criminals based in Provence, southern France.
